Now u need one for red stone from witches and emeralds so build a raid farm

you shouldve just deleted the whole bastion, youd have more blocks to turn to slabs and you wouldnt of had to slab the whole thing
would it have been easier to remove all the blocks in that area and the placed slabs or the floor? I would think so because it would be a flat area

If you use a stone cutter you get a lot more slabs you put 64 blocks in you get 64 slabs out

Since you have been having trouble with the melons you should make a melon farm OR a raid farm for inf totems and inf emeralds to go with your gold, iron, and coal

So here is a tip: I’ve had the same problem when I was building on top of the nether and there is I e thing that really helps: potion of invisibility! Mobs will mostly ignore you
